Specialist offers weekend viewings of Spanish homes
A specialist overseas property agent is offering potential buyers weekend trips to view luxury golf resort property in Spain's Murcia, just south of Alicante.
An opportunity for Brits thinking to buy Spanish property, Villaminder is offering to pay for the overnight accommodation in hotels or apartments in the area, along with hospitality. Clients interested in overseas property would only need to pay the travel costs.
The aim of the offer is to entice younger golf enthusiasts, who may be looking to buy property abroad as a holiday home, renting it out for the rest of the year.
Each of the featured resorts includes a championship standard golf course, as well as impressive landscape and leisure features. All the properties themselves also comes with a ten-year build guarantee.
Ex-football star Gary Lineker has been persuaded to come on board to head up a marketing campaign for the 3 Molinos resort, while five of the ten Murcia resorts covered also have a show home to view.
These are the Covera Golf and Country Club, Roda Golf and Beach Resort, Peraleja Golf, Hacienda del Alamo and the Mar Menor Golf Resort.
A two bedroom, two bathroom apartment from Villaminder could typically set you back €200,000, while the more luxurious eight bedrooms and four bathrooms with a private swimming pool is priced at around €1.7 million, the company says.
Set up as recently as November last year, Villaminder also offers post-sale ongoing services, such as property maintenance and management and pool cleaning.
Andrew Nicholson, golf property consultant, said the company's service was geared towards finding a golf property abroad in the sun "without the headache".
